Reading Church News With Peace
Church news deserves attention, but not addiction. The faithful need truth without panic.
A peaceful way to read Catholic news starts with three questions. What actually happened? What is the reliable source? What does the Church clearly teach, and what is still interpretation?
Many online spaces reward outrage because outrage keeps people refreshing the page. Humilvita should choose a different rhythm. Slow down. Verify. Link primary sources when possible. Avoid headlines that make people more anxious than informed.
When the news is painful, the Christian response is not denial. It is prayer, truth, repentance where needed, and service where possible. Peace is not passivity. Peace is the fruit of staying close to Christ while facing reality.
That is the editorial standard worth building from day one.
